It's KABC's Kevin James, y'all...(He LOVES ZD, but HATES when I say, y'all, y'all! So there's three.)
Everyone knows Doug McIntyre, from the KABC morning drive time slot (5am-9am). Before Doug, so deservedly got the slot, he was pulling the "Red Eye Radio" shift (1a-5a) on KABC.
Some guy named Kevin James took Doug's spot, as the new host of "Red Eye", and I've only started listening recently, as I've become more politcally active in this town, and let me tell you, this guy Kevin James is fantastic! If you like Mayor Sam's blog, and Zuma Dogg's ranting and posting...you will love and be further enlightened by the knowlege kicked by Kevin. If this guy had a national talk show of his own, it would EASILY be the best national talk show.
I know some of you simply cannot hear Kevin's "Red Eye Radio" on KABC because of his 1am-5a time slot. I have a lot of my calls into his show that I will post soon. Check him out on the KABC website (www.KABC.com). And I will post some additional comments from Mayor Sam readers, that was the final straw in abusing my privilge as an "official" MS contributor, to give Kevin James, of 790-KABC Radio a little well deserved publicity for his show, cause he's right in between my two other favorite talk show host that everyone already knows and loves; Doug McIntyre and Mr. KABC.
Wake up at 1am to roll a tape of his show if you have to, and if you ever get a radio survey or poll in the mail, write down that you listen to Kevin, Doug and Mr. KABC on KABC Radio.
