Zuma Dogg "Week In Review" (ZD Prop. H Factor?)

[Originally posted on Mayor Sam Nov 8, 2006)
ZD PROP. H FACTOR?: Bob Jiminez won't let me on his show, y'all...So, here's a question regarding, "The Zuma Dogg Factor" on Prop. H. (Kinda narcissistic and ego-centric, but I gotta know what Mayor Sam readers think): If you add up all my calls to KABC over the past two to three months; all my appearances on City TV 35 (each one airs four times, for a total of twelve airings a week); plus (multiple) airings on Public Access cable TV systems throughout the L.A. metro -- urging voters to vote "No on Prop. H", and giving them plenty of reasons...

Could it have added up to maybe 5% influence of the vote? (Mr. KABC was willing to give me that, among a few others). Well, Prop. H only missed its two-thirds majority vote by 5%, Y'ALL. That means if Big ZD was still allowed to sell incense and t-shirts on Venice Beach, instead of reading Walter Moore and Joseph Mailander's stories about Prop. H on Mayor Sam's blog (prodding me to look into it), I wouldn't have been blasting against Prop. H on the radio, public access and City TV 35...and you may have hit the two-thirds needed. [And yes, Prop. R passed, but ZD can't compete against all those "duciplutous and intentionally deceiving" flyers and of course the confusingly written ballot language that suckered the voters.]

ON RIORDAN: Here are my prep notes for my phone call with Richard Riordan on KABC, heard this past Tuesday...]

Hello KABC listeners, this is Zuma Dogg with the Legislative Review of former LA City Mayor, Richard Riordan. Zuma Dogg says, "First of all, even bigger than Richard Riordan (worth about the same as Britney Spears) is Eli Broad (worth more than David Geffen), and the two of them (figureheaded by Riordan) backed Mayor Antonio in his campaign, both with support through Riordan's notoriety in the public, and with the "Mayoral infrastructure" if you will. (ie: Riordan's Chief of Staff was Robin Kramer. Then, she went to work for Broad; and is now Zuma Dogg's pal, Mayor Tony's "Cheif of Staff". Plus, Riordan was responsible for Mayor Villagrossa's campaign fund-raising. None of this is a secret, it's all been reported in the papers; just ask him.

Mayor Antonio stands on the shoulders of Richard Riordan and Eli Broad, who still consult the Mayor and call the shots and pulls the strings the way Jim Henson pulls the strings on Kermit the Frog. So if you have beef with the Mayor, you really only have beef with Riordan, and Mayor Tony for listening to him.

But here's what ZD doesn't like: Riordan is driving force, number one man who put the Mayor up to AB 1381 (Mayoral Control of LAUSD Bill). Ask Richard, (who is heavily invested in school supplies and real estate construction) why he pushed for AB 1381 when the only thing it actually called for was all spending power (including every school contract and the $20 2/3 BILLION School construction/repair budget) to be put in the hands of one person. Then removes the requirement of an Inspector General to oversee for fraud, waste and abuse.
