First of all, Bill O'Reilly is doing his show LIVE in L.A. this week from 790-KABC. And his first topic, first hour...L.A.'s drug problem and Prop. 215 and all that. THEN, when ZD called in as "Dave" from Venice calls in (screener says Bill won't take a call from someone named "Zuma Dogg") -- O'Rielly MAGICALLY goes right into a slam of Bill Rosendahl's Venice district. (The guy must have just read my thread on Rosendahl, or something.)
Anyway, O'Rielly starts saying marijuana is in the same catagory as cocaine, heroin and crystal meth -- the Prop. 215 is a joke (because his assistants checked it out over the weekend???) . Sorry Bill, we are on the same side regarding fraudulant doctors abusing the prescription writing -- and ZD even mentioned FIRST that there needs to be regulation of dispensaries because they are popping up all over the place...and even bars selling alcohol have regulations. And, ZD has said on TV 35 before Council MANY times...If you are concerned with recreational abuse...target the doctors writing the bogus prescriptions, not the dispensaries who run VERY tight ships. (After all, they have a licenese to sell weed! Why would they want to blow that. They don't.)
And remember, there is doctor prescription-writing abuse that runs rampant with all kinds of traditional "pharmacy" prescription medications. But when you say weed belongs in the same catagory as meth, crack, coke and smack...
That's when ZD has to call in and school yo azz. (Only problem...Bill turns the phone down as soon as you speak, so it's really not a conversation that much, as much as an opportunity to make one point, before he turns you down. But, hopefully, I made a point or two.)
