Some of you know I spent the weekend at Venice Beach. I stole one of the psychic's stack of tarot cards, and here are my predictions for the constant merry-go-round of carreer politicians:
1. Rocky Delgadillo plans on running for Ed Reyes' CD 1 seat. (ZD exclusive, OTR, D! ROCKY, HIRE ZD AS COMMUNICATIONS DEPUTY!)
2. Mike Feuer will run for his old CD 5 seat when Jackass Weiss runs from Rocky's Job. (Even though Daily News writes otherwise. But DN aint' ZD.)
3. Laura Chick will run for assembly against Bob Blumenfield and Stuart Waldman. (Take it to Vegas, y'all! OTR, D!)
4. Jon Lauritzen has let go of most of his campaign staff (Sue Burnside) and the cards are saying that he is going to resign within the month. (YIKES, bad tarot cards on THAT one.)
5. Julie Korenstein will serve out her last term in office, then retire. (Figures, she's my favorite -- who coined the phrase, "Frankenstein Bill" (regarding AB 1381).
6. Ed Reyes will run for Fabian Nunez's assembly seat. (LOL! But first, Ed will have to move into the district.)
7. Janice Hahn will not run for Mayor. (Doesn't wanna run against ZD...She'll wait till ZD knocks out Antonio.)
8. Wendy "Greuesome" Greuel will run for Laura Chick's Controller position when Chick leaves for assembly.
9. Sorry to rock the boat, just reading the tea leafs y'all...Or is it a piece of paper I found in the trash?
